SBEC Proudly Presents “Boosting Your Bottom Line!”
The Small Business Enterprise Center, Inc. (SBEC) is a non-profit organization committed to accelerating the growth and development of minority & women owned companies. SBEC does so by providing a variety of business consulting services to minority and women business owners. Our main focus is to bring support to minority and women business owners in Georgia and Tennessee as well as the surrounding areas. According to the US Census Bureau, minority and women owned businesses is the fastest growing segment of the business community. Many of these businesses are started due to unemployment and lack of job security. Unfortunately, statistics show that half of all small businesses fail within the first two years of opening their doors. SBEC was created to address this issue by educating minority small business owners on the essential keys to creating a successful business.
SBEC Inc will serve as a bridge between the gap of successful and failed minority businesses. We will do this by becoming a resource center for entrepreneurs to come and receive understanding of entrepreneurship and providing them with the necessary services to make sure their business has proper planning and able to obtain funding for their business. The services we will provide will be dependent on what each small business needs. In order to determine that, we will meet with each business owner and provide an analysis what is needed.
We understand that most entrepreneurs lack the capital to hire consultants that will offer advice and supporting services for their business. We have created SBEC Inc to allow a low cost service for minority business owners that need start up assistance. Each business that we assist will be required to submit an application to obtain our services and must meet with one of our consultants to assess their business needs. We will require a 10% of the total cost from the entrepreneur and the remaining 90% will be provided by the funding that SBEC Inc will obtain.
SBEC Inc will also assist each participant with branding and marketing as needed. Our innovative and creative team will build a business model that is specific to each business and industry. To better service each company and guarantee positive results we will analyze marketing trends and develop solutions based on information that will determine the best business structure for each business.
